What is an incorrect quote?
An incorrect quote is a short, made-up conversation between characters who never said it. Fandoms have posted them on Tumblr for years: two lines of dialogue that sound exactly like the characters, in a situation their story never gave them.
Most incorrect quote generators drop names into a fixed list of templates, so the same jokes come round again. This one writes each quote for the cast, tone and situation you give it.
How to get a funnier incorrect quote
- Use real names. Characters you know well give the AI something to work with.
- Give them a problem. "Cooking with no recipe" beats a blank box.
- Pick a tone. Chaotic and sarcastic land hardest. Wholesome is for the found family.
