What is a roleplay prompt?
A roleplay prompt is a starting situation for a roleplay: who is there, where they are, what they want and what is in the way. It gives your RP partner, your Discord server or an AI something to answer, and leaves the story to you.
Most RP prompt generators draw from a fixed list of a hundred or so prompts. This one writes new prompts every time, for the characters, genre and setting you give it.
How to get better RP prompts
- Name your characters. Two to four, canon or OC. The prompts are written around them, and the names fill in straight away.
- Pick a type. Full scenarios give a premise, roles, a conflict, a twist, a first line and where it could go.
- Set the scene. Genre, setting, conflict, relationship and tone are all one tap under More options.
- Press More like these. You get new prompts without losing the ones you like.
