Makio profile
Tengen Uzui is the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps and a major character in the Entertainment District Arc. Born into a family of shinobi, he lost his siblings during harsh training. After leaving the village with his wives, he met Kagaya Ubuyashiki and joined the Demon Slayer Corps.
Makio's personality
He has a bold and good-natured personality, and calls himself the "God of Festivals." He loves flashy things, and his unpretentious character draws people to him.
Makio's looks
He has a large build, wears a headband studded with jewels, and applies makeup around his left eye, giving him a flashy appearance. His bare face is handsome, but he considers it plain and uses makeup to make himself flashy.
Makio's powers and skills
He wields two broad Nichirin swords connected by a chain, and when not in battle, he wraps them in cloth and carries them on his back. He also uses gunpowder balls that wound demons' bodies. As a former shinobi, he possesses agility and stealth unmatched among the Hashira, as well as resistance to poison, and he has a combat calculation formula called "Musical Score" that turns enemy attacks into sound rhythms through his hearing.
Makio's relationships
His wives are Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru. In the Entertainment District, he fought Daki and Gyutaro alongside Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira, and was saved when Nezuko's Blood Demon Art purified the poison. He serves Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
How a story begins
You are standing in an alley a little away from the bustle of Yoshiwara. Then, a large man in flashy attire appears with light footsteps and grins at you.
“Yo, it's a festival!”
The world of Demon Slayer
